OVERSEA EDUCATIONAL VISIT
NNTC in collaborations with overseas partner arranges Educational visits to various R & D Universities Labs, Research Centres, and Industrial Visit in Singapore and Europe. Overseas educational visits are ideal for those students and professionals who want to witness themselves advance Nanotechnology Labs, Nanotech latest infrastructure, to interact with Scientist and Professors working in Nanotech. Different overseas trip will be organized and NNTC will concentrate on its Educational overseas commitments and planning, whereby NNTC will outsource the travel and visa arrangements to suitable travel agents
a) Singapore’s Nanotech Week:- One week visit to Singapore Nanotech Research Centres, One day visit each to Asia leading Universities Nanyang Technology University and National University of Singapore. One day visit to Singapore Bio-polis and Astar Research Institutes. One day visit to Singapore Semiconductor companies where less than 50nm features are fabricated.
b) Europeans NanoScience Tour:- 10 Days extensive tour to UK, Netherland and France Nanotech labs and Companies. Get to know what’s latest instruments and state-of-art facilities in Nanotechnology. One-to-one interactions with scientist working on advance Nanoscience and related areas. The tour also covers visits to leading universities in UK and Netherland where you will get chance to get acquaintance with various Professors working in Nanotechnology and interact with them to join their group.
c) MEMS and Nano Fabrications Hands-on Training :- One and Two weeks training is ideal for industrial professionals, R&D engineers, PhD and Research Students and Junior Scientist Level candidates who want to get train in advance MEMS and Nano-fabrication methodology. Starting from nano-deposition (sputtering, Thermal E-Beam evaporation) to Nano-structures writing employing Electron beam Lithography and conventional Photo-Lithography techniques are covered. We also provide hands-on experience to Reactive Ion Etching, Ion-beam Etching, Wet etching, Annealing, and related fabrication tools. Characterization tools like surface profiler-meter, SEM, AFM and optical microscope are also shown and hands-on experience are provided.
Certificate of Award:- At the successfully competition of the Training, the attendees are Awarded with a Certificate on MEMS and Nano-Fabrication.
