World of Nanotechnology is related to the unit of measure involve. A centimeter is one-hundredth of a meter, a millimeter is one-thousandth of a meter, a micrometer is one-millionth of a meter and nanometer (nm) is one-billionth of a meter. It is smaller than the wavelength of visible light and a hundred-thousandth the width of a human hair. Nanometer is still larger than compared atomic scale. Atom diameter is about 0.1 nm and it’s nucleus is only 0.00001nm.

Nanotechnology exploits the fact that, at this scale, materials can behave very differently from their visual sizes. These facts have been explored in depth by scientist and researcher. Nanotechnology is used for the production of different devices such as in making computer chips, CDs and mobile phones. Still, researchers are gradually enhancing the knowledge about the nanoscale world and intend to use nanotechnologies to manufacturer faster, lighter, stronger, or more efficient new devices.
